| | | how come there never is any new threads on the 4 corners thread? Is there just nothing to explore in the area. I'm honestly just curious because when I go to some of the other areas they always have new stuff. I scoped a cool place in Idaho Springs today so maybe I'll go up there and post that so we have something new.

| | | I am not even from that area but each time I go there on vacation (once or twice a year) I manage to find new spots so I share your concerns CanadianRhian. I posted a message a while ago about Superior and nobody answered. There is plenty to see out there. Some locations are wide open. As sson as I can get some vacation, I'm going back there!

| | | Some of us won't post about a new location because we're lazy. We'll just add pics to the LDB and then not mention it on the forums. Or, more often I think, the location just wasn't cool enough to warrant a thread about it. I have quite a few pics of lame locations.

| | | There are a few old mining buildings in Jerome, AZ. You have to climb down the side of strip mine to get to them, but they are really cool. Absolutely no tagging. Some are in use for storage though, they hold a crap ton of drilling samples.

| | | Anyone know of anything in Northern Colorado? Once as a teenager I explored an old house from the dustbowl era around Keota I think, somewhere out on the pawnee area. Lots of old ruins out there. I suppose missile silo park outside of Greeley would be worth a look, haven't seen that since I was a Cub Scout. Anyone got some suggestions for easy trips for a newbie?

the silo park got hit in the Windsor tornado. Of course, it is a missile silo, so it's likely OK, but i haven't been there. Check out the sugar mill in Eaton.
