Foray into - Washington D.C.

I recently poked around the area near Federal Center and L'enfant Station in Washington, and found a few railroad structures that have been abandoned, and some huge federal structures that are uninhabited and in considerable disrepair. One of them was once part of the dept. or health and human services i think, it matches many of the active buildings adjacent to it, but it looks as though the whole structure is empty of people, and quite damaged. I wasn't able to infiltrate the offices, nor the Train Tower i found, though i plan on going back for the tower, which i could access from the traintracks if i walked from L'enfant station...

Interesting.

Flat, poor color range. Fix exposure settings. Composition generally good. My Sanyo M1 could out-shoot the first one especially. #2 like. #3 is a little too loud in color. Looks like the obnoxious color saturation crap you get out of Nikon and some Kodak point and shoots. I like the shot up the building wall. Very good. #1, 4, 6, 7 the tracks look like they were taken by a moderate to decent telephone camera.
