| | Ok question < on 8/24/2008 9:21 PM >
| | | A couple days ago me and a friend went in a drain that led under a road. We followed it for at least forty five minutes until we head back. I know for a fact it is right under the street. Does anyone know if it would end or keep on going? Thanks

| | | Many occasions such drains are only for specific street, area etc, and they are not all linked together city wide. So it's very much possible that you wont find anything spectacular and it is just a straight pipe for few miles, and then it ends. As already said, the reward is in the process usually (if you don't live in Sydney etc. ). And although some drain would and could go under a mall etc, it is very likely that there are no manholes there, as the pipes get very small towards such places. The only way to tell is to follow it the rest of the way through. Of course, all drains end eventually. Nothing is forever... Not meaning to be nasty or to flame you but, unless people have a crystal ball or are there themselves, there's no real way of saying for sure if this will end.

<sarcasm> choose you're words wisely! </sarcasm> seriously, I'd go look for other drains. If you walked for 45 minutes in one direction, and you didn't find anything, I personally wouldn't want to walk that 45 again for the chance that something might come in a another 45.... unless I had exhausted all other drains in the area.

The last part was just me joking around. Should have had the emoticon for you're your clarification. [last edit 8/25/2008 1:38 AM by rainman8889 - edited 1 times]
