|  | | | I finally took some pics of this old motel. It has more than 600 rooms. There is a lot vandalism. The copper thieves seem to have done the most damage. Some rooms are almost intact.
Here are some of them.

Yes its a bigish hotel. Seven levels two buildings. There is potentially some cools pics looking up or down the elevator shafts one of which is eight levels plus the depth of the sump. The Pent House is one level above the rest of the rooms which are 7 levels. The Pent House is the fourth pic from the last pic. unfortunately only a few of the elevator doors are open so the shafts are very dark. Now If all the doors where open. I wish I could have taken more pics but my old digital camera an Olympus C-720 uses smartmedia memory cards and I only have one 4meg left that works. I must try to get couple of new larger ones. The elevators are not all at the bottom. Oddly there seems to be no mechanism /cables for moving them up and down. Perhaps I will go back today as there will be fewer people around to see me on a Sunday. Anybody know what you have to poke in the holes near the top of the elevator doors to open them?
One more thing, the kitchen of the restaurant and bar is accessable but it was too dark for me to see what is in there.

Yes it is. I have explored large old houses with some stuff left in them and an old hospitale that was almost empty. But this definitely my best explore and then some because of its size and content. Its a little risky. They have just put up a new set of no trespass sign and made some attempt at fixing the fence and locking the gates. Its still relatively easy to get in but it is in an active and busy area so its prudent to try not to be seen. In some of the rooms you can lay on the bed with couple of pillows under your head and watch the traffic go by. There are jacuzzi in some of the fancy rooms pity the electric and water are off LOL not that if they where on it would help much as the copper wiring and piping have all been ripped out. I will get some more pics.

look around on the site for posts about this place. if you get caught in here which is a decent chance, you do go to jail with a felony. be careful.

Jail and a felony Ouch. Ok I looked in the obvious places like the DB and did not find anything but then I can only view the public stuff. Can you give me a better hint as to where I should look? Assuming its public that is.

for other places to explore or for info on this place? a great place for both is google. there is still a handful of really cool stuff to see in central FL. but fair warning that hotel is bad fucking news! its a cool place though.

you actually have to do it like this:
