SALVAGED PHOTO FROM BROKEN CAMERA

i have now learned the important lesson of "non functioning ccd's"
somehow two of the bracketed photos of this subject came out,and with my first attempt ever at photoshop i was able to combine the better elements of the two.
here is what i managed, and i got a frame around it also...

Well, it's certainly not obvious that you've combined two shots, so you get a big thumbs up for that I'd maybe have shot it from a lower perspective, though.

when splicing images together, I always use complex/random areas (water, leaves, etc. as eyes have a hard time seeing the seam in these places) for the seams, and avoid straight lines or obvious areas. Then warp & skew the 2nd photo over the first, slowly erase part of one until it blends with the other, and trim all the edges nicely (if you had to skew the photo).

thanx for the tip mario i'll have to try the erase technique next time.
i used the magic wand to cut out the parts wanted, then blended with
the various image/adjustments choices.and a small amount of cloning.
the part of the photo that bugs me is the bushes in the shadow line,
couldn't get the color to look right...
edit:tried to follow desmet's tutorial on bracket/blend
but got frustrated,i will learn....
