| | | | Sackville Fish Processing Plant < on 6/25/2008 1:21 AM >
| | | So me and Blackbird were just hiking along some old railroad tracks one day last summer and we came across this old foundation, because it was so close to the tracks and there was an old road leading away from it i figured it was an old train station, but i have recently come across some information explaining it was a fish processing plant. Sorry it took so long for me to post them i have been really busy.

| | | Just a guess, Sackville, NS? Not Sackville, NB?
You shake my hand, say “pleased to meet you.” Look me in the eye, I don’t believe you. TUI, as long as I’m still alive. I live despite you. Realize I’m not one of your kind, I’m nothing like you. |

| | | Middle Sackville sounds about right, it was next to that subdivision that was built where the old drag racing strip used to be. On a side note it's too bad that most of the drag racing strip is gone (and all of the cars); there where always old cars and even large machinery and monster truck tires just lying around abandoned.

| | | I was on GE today, I don't think Google updated the maps yet, 'cause the old Raceway/Speedway is still there (on GE). Looks like it was huge. Depending how much development is already up there, I might go take a look on my vacation.

| | | Lots of development. The last time I was up there I think I spotted a small section of the track behind some houses and maybe the small oval that used to be beside the drag strip.

| | | What's the piece of land that's now cut through by the exit going to Uniacke?? It looks like there used to be an oval and strip there too: Mount Uniacke/Upper Sackville Exit
