| | | Hi, I found a website that shows old ski resorts. There apparently was one in Marble, CO. Has anyone ever visited this building or seen it?
The website is listed on the photo, there's some other places that look like they could be interested to visit.

| | | I was just in Marble a few weeks ago and I did not see any such thing. The town aint too big, but there are some other cool things in Marble. Old foundations and large pieces of marble strewn about.

| | | I was in Marble last year (and drove around a fair amount) and saw no large abandoned resorts, but as Lexi said, there are lots of neat foundations.

| | | On the website it tells where the old ski resort used to be so I'm assuming its not really in town or anything. It's most likely just in the Marble area. I agree the way it looks I'm doubting it's gone.

| | | First off I posted this last month which technically isn't a month ago. I plan to go to Marble some time soon but it's not exactly close to Denver and the weather has to be good. I might also have to wait for a friend to come with me because that'd be a crappy trip by myself.

no problem, I'm pretty sure that's it, but I could be wrong, but based on the hand drawn map I think it is correct.

| | | So, I went to Marble this weekend and had no luck on finding anything. The whole site exists in an area referred to as "Blair Ranch" on some maps. There is a very large structure located at 39 4'57.12"N 107 10'50.27"W - to get there you have to go up East Hill Street and head east around a bend to Perry Road. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any street signs to follow and I belive you probably have to reach it through a gate thats off of the 4x4 road to Crystal (which is a completely jacked road). Needless to say I couldn't find the place. Marble does have a new BBQ joint which serves some good grub though.

| | | Looks like a nice spot to ski. I can't imagine why the place isn't still in operation. Even if it went under, why didn't anyone buy it?

| | | I think it's on the wrong side of the mountain, or maybe just wasnt' large enough for anyone to care - who knows, Marble isn't exactly easy to get to come winter time.

| | | a quad might be best. I was in a 4WD truck. The problem really is finding the place - you know it's there somewhere but there's lots of roads and trails weaving back and fourth and some have locked gates, so you don't want to accidently drive up a driveway. Best chance would be to ask a local I guess.
