| | | This places is located in the Southward of China (Jiangsu province) Due to the Urban reconstruction ,this old houses should be demolished yesterday i pass through the suburbs and took these pic during the way i explore it ,the local workman were curious about my work and i don't wanna to bother they work so i just took some pics and leave it without in-depth exploring it.

In china some people like western style(i mean ,the home structures) with the development of people's living condition they would like to try different style and this condition it's totally different between China's different areas you know ,when i took pics ,i got a little bit worry about the workman ^^^ anyway they are kind enough ^^^^ (Korea and China all belongs to Asia ,that's why they have a lots of common [last edit 4/30/2008 2:05 PM by Robin - edited 1 times]

Theres one or two left, but the new ones are characterless and the town just becomes like any other and not worth visiting.

It's mainly so they can be replaced by highrises so the city's population density can be increased, meaning that each square kilometer of land will be generating more revenue. Basically it comes down to using less land for more people. Well, at least that's how it works over here and I doubt it's any different in China.
