I'll let you all know days and dates when I do - there's a while yet to plan stuff, right? 
Right now I'm looking into hiring a car for my time in Halifax... Should make getting around to locations less of a chore.
If you want to post some idea of locations in the meantime though, I'm totally all ears!

We went to go about three weeks ago and there was about ten cop cars parked outside and some police standing around drinking coffee...this sort of confirmed the rumour for me.

By the way, anyone know what the parking lot and red barn across the street are used for? It's a big well kept parking lot, and looks like there's some trail heads off of it... I had no idea there were trails in that area! (aside from, of course, the salt marsh trail)

| | | | That's parking for the Salt Marsh Trail as well, those trails go all over that area. Also, over the other side of that hill are the foundations for the original rehab centre. The one that's being use for TPB was only put up in the early 20th century, and before that was used for farmlands maintained by the residents of the original rehab center (back when it was called "Cole Harbour Mentally Insane Asylum").

In fact, it can be a good thing: especially if you get there after they have been training how to kick down exterior doors!
