|  | | | Watch out for the squatters near the back where the tunnels converge. We heard their music first then stopped, then they ran out at us. After a few minutes we convinced them to let us head to the back and check it out, but, they stayed pretty close to us. Guarding their stuff near where they lived i assume. They did start a fire though while we were inside, We had to cut the trip short because of the smoke.

What is it with folks suddenly calling our drains by different names? 'Temples?
Funny, I've never really seen anyone in that system during the winter. Most of the squatters I've seen have been staying cool during the middle of the summer heat, and not many of 'em were ever more than fifty meters in. I bet those guys get busted real quick if they've got smoke billowing out of the Antechamber and outfall. Smoke never looks bad inside, but topside is a different story. Heh, that I know from experience...

| | | | I talk to him in emails, he is my only contact since i moved to Colorado a few weeks ago. We didn't get to take any pictures that time around, When we pulled out the camera we realized we left it on since the last time and the batteries had died. We will be taking pictures next go round though. In a couple of days or so.

| | | | Here are a few pictures i got, i would have went deeper, i wanted to go at least to the drainbox in the back and snap some pictures. But, the last three pictures, when i got to that point in the drain i leaned foward to snap a picture of the icicles hanging from the roof and one of the squatters was on the other side of the wall, i guess sleeping and when i leaned past the edge of the wall he scrambled out of bed and started screaming "whose there! whose there!" and i heard a few other people scrambling around. So we jetted out for fear of a hobo stabbing.
ALSO: i am not a photographer, nor do i aspire to be a photographer. Keep that in mind. :)
Are there any meetups in Denver coming up soon? I would like to meet a couple of other people with similar intrests in the area since i am fairly new to Colorado.
