| | | Assume every car is a cop car. Last time I came out of a tunnel there was a car parked in the adjacent lot, where a different car had been parked before. In the dark, I naturally assumed it was the same car. Don't make the same assumption I did.

WTF are night vison googles? Community n00b hint 101: If trying to display biting wit to impress the older members of the community, do not type things like "night vison googles."
|
Im not trying to impress anyone. I realise theres a typo and thats fine. You dont have to get pissy about it now.

Community noob hint 102: Do not rez-post just to defend yourself. No one cares nearly that much.
And, to be on topic: Don't trust women's pants pockets. They suck. Things will fall out. This is proportionally likely to distance of the nearest water, and to the inverse of the distance above the ground. (Girls I were with have lost a butterknife 200' straight down, and a cellphone into the ocean.) The knife was only slightly bent. The cell was never seen again.

On that note: Don't trust coat pockets without zippers either. One of my friends lost her prescription medication down a drain last night. Even better tip: Don't bring anything you don't absolutely need to the site. Prescription medication.. seriously.. that one surprised me haha

| | | Here's one-while it's generally a good idea to bring a cell phone, make sure you and everyone you're with turns the damn ringer off! Not only is that a great way to alert people(i.e.cops, security)to your presence, but it can scare the hell out of you when someone decides to call you while you're exploring a dark quiet room...
I was thinking about how people seem to read the Bible a whole lot more as they get older; then it dawned on me - they're cramming for their final exam... |
