| | | You're near lots of old mining towns like Jerome. Do some research and I bet you'll find sites in those places Be careful of abandoned mines; bad air, instability, and open holes make them VERY dangerous. I wouldn't go.

| | | I've done a bunch of mines down in the Bradshaws, south of Sedona. I can point you in the direction of some good places to go in that vein - abandoned mining towns, etc. As for Sedona itself, I don't know of anything firsthand...

| | | Here is a good site for ghost towns - http://www.ghosttowns.com/ As for buildings in Sedona, I'm not aware of any. For the most part it's probably too new.

| | | Mostly just mines in the Sedona area, property value is too high for something to sit for too long. Some of the mines around are pretty interesting. I don't recommend exploring them unless you have the proper experience and equipment. Mines are no joke. I did find this site on Arizona mines which is really informative with good photography. http://minexplorat...pod.com/index.html

| | | There are ghost towns all around that area that are really neat, you need to have a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get to most though, at least the most interesting in my experience. There's a good book that you can pick up at most large bookstores that has the access roads to most of these places. I forgot the name, pretty easy to find. Be careful, old wood has dry rot, and the floors can fall right in, and make sure you're current on your tenus shot.
