This was once a heavily timbered lodge, overlooking the Sooke River, just beyond Sooke Potholes Provincial Park. The 20-year-old structure was never completed and was recently removed due to rotting timber. These are recent pictures of the stonework that still remains.

| | | | AHHH!! soo...there are still some ruins. good. I was lucky enough to get there just before the take down. Now I know i can still go back and see what is left.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too! |

| | | | This place used to be amazing, such a shame they had to take the timber down, its only about 5% as cool as it used to be. Also the river right below this place is called the "potholes" because of the deep holes in the bed of the stone river bank caused by erosion.
