| | | I am not new to UE just new to photography. I picked up a Fujifilm FinePix s5000 for real short money. I shot these sunday next to my moms house, these two buildings used to be part of a nursing home complex. The main building was burned as a FD exercise. These are the photos I liked the most out of the set. Sorry about the black and white just wanted to see how the mode worked.

| | | If you're going to do B&W, take your camera off black and white mode. It tends to make pictures look muddy and flat. Instead, get the settings perfect in color, then do a black and white conversion in photoshop. Your photos will look much better.

| | | I see these are the raw photos in black and white mode. I have to borrow my brother's photoshop cd and install it on my computer.

| | | Don't take this hard, but here's what I see: 1. This photo looks really blown out. The picture is too bright, leaving little texture to look at. Also, the subject is captured as if someone was just looking straight at standing up. 2. Sorry, but this photo is really boring. There's nothing much to look at. 3. I like this picture. I would make it a hint darker though, so there's more shadow in the bottom left corner. 4. This photo is crooked. The lighting is ok, but I would have moved to the left a bit, and lowered the camera so the box was centered more. Feel free to get closer to your objects and take them from odd perspectives. That way you will avoid the "snapshot" look. Take time framing your photos too. That way you can avoid cutting off parts of your subject and ensure that your photos are taken straight. Here's a helpful link: http://www.picture...hotographyTips.htm Do some research and keep posting. I hope this helps
