To give you an idea of how isolated it is, there is a (apparently occupied) house and a couple of other outbuildings at the intersection of US 24 and US 285 where this building stands, and the nearest other structures visible are barns, perhaps five miles away. The nearest open business in any direction is about 15 miles away.

The guy who owns it has a lot of derelict or empty properties in that area. Several years ago my father was looking in to buying one of his empty lots up on Indian Mountain.
