|  | | | DotWhy and I recently explored old St Mary's Infirmary in StL, MO..we found three entrances-all easy, but one that is exceptionally fun. SMI is up for sale, but by the looks of the inside, it's going to end up demolished sooner rather than later. So now may be your last chance to check it out, aside from the pics I'm about to post...

Eh, that's what I figured. When I visited there the building was in much disrepair, especially the upper levels.
I need to go there again.

They'll sell off the property, the new owners will demo and then build over-priced lofts... that's how stuff works in StL. But... it's not exactly prime property for much. It's a busy area, but in a weird spot with inconvenient roads. I think it's safe for a bit.
I was in St Mary's in... May? I think. Hobo City. Got some decent pics but we were unable to find a way into the far part on the other side of the kitchens from the hospital.

We were in the hospital. We went in the "back entrance" right behind the kitchens and through the hospital. But there's that whole section that sits out farther to the busy intersection and is all boarded up that we couldn't get into.
I think on eco-absence, there is an article written by the guy who runs the site and he says in that article, that he couldn't find a way in either.

agreed. ok, by smaller section,do you mean the building that was once the MO center for alcohol and drug rehabilitaiton? If so, could you please PM me, let me know of some possible entrances? We searched a bit last time, but to no avail.

Me too. That's the section I'm talking about as well. We couldn't figure out how to get in.
