|  | | | Hey everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself. I live in Montreal and just recently discovered UE. I was training to be a professional snowboarder but an injury ended my career this winter. Since then I've been trying to find a new hobby for all my spare time but nothing really peaked my interest. I've always been really into history and anthropology, recently I've also become interested in archeology and photography has always been one of my minor hobbies, so you can imagine how taken a back I was when I discovered UE. There is a 95 year old fire station that is being converted into condos near my house that I got access to earlier this summer. I will try to upload some photos of it soon. It was cool but a fair bit of the construction had already begun. Anyways, now you know a little bit about me, I was just wondering if any of you had ever run into a fellow UEer on an expedition (like without knowing they were going to be there). I just thought that that would be a pretty funny coincidence. I look forward to meeting all of you, Snurferboy.

Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?

One time I climbed said ladder, like I had done so many times before, only to find said residents enjoying an evening swim in a kiddie pool on the roof. I'm not sure who was more surprised...

Anyways after I left he said "Have you ever heard of Urban Exploring? You should check it out."

| | | | Ahah, I'm too far into the country to run into other people UEing -- especially since the only other people who UE around here only ever do it when we're off exploring together. ^^; There just aren't enough people around interested in it, really. (They're Laaaaazy.)
Hope to see the photos of the fire station, though -- it sounds lovely! Old buildings are always the best to UE ...
