| | | Anyone have any information on an abandoned office building on the SE corner of 3rd st and Earll Dr in Phoenix? It is a modern building, at least 20 stories. Fence with barbed wire but that's it. Not lit up at night.

| | | It's the one on the right. You can see that several of the windows are broken out. I found out through some research that the building was designed by a famous Phoenix architect, Alfred N. Beadle. This is not one of his more well known buildings. It was occupied by Mountain Bell and then Qwest. No idea why it's vacant now.

| | | I did a drive-by scout yesterday. It's definitely abandoned, and the perimeter fence is knocked over in one spot. It's either 21 or 22 stories - I lost count halfway. BIG. Benstern - you wanna do this together? bloodzombie - thanks for the tipoff!

| | | First picture is from the Maricopa County 2006 aerials (don't know why they look better than the 2007 ones) http://www.maricop...essor/GIS/Map.html (Open in IE) Second picture is from Microsoft Virtual Earth in 3d mode. Third Picture is from Microsoft Virtual Earth in bird's eye mode. And the owner info is also from the Maricopa County Assessor site.
