Getting to the cave is actually very easy, [removed]. It was hard to miss, the small cave opening is surrounding by colorful graffiti.-and this was just on the interent...fools...

I've never been to this cave and probably never will... But the abandonments that I do frequent, I will continue to be secretive about their locations as I see fit. You may thing that protecting sensitive information is silly and that's fine... But, I think you'll find that you are a very small minority... We'll just continue to discuss our sites as secretively as we always have and if you don't like it, find somewhere else to mount your petty attacks.
Just because you feel like sharing the information doesn't mean you should just go ahead and do it... Others have went out of their way to protect this cave's integrity whether it warrants it or not.

Some people know, but that doesn't mean that everyone knows. It's called damage control and if we don't come out and say where it is than maybe some people won't find it and trash it.
Nothing can be done about the people who know of it but we can try and avoid letting other vandals find out.

| | | | I'm not ashamed to admit that I've complained about users on here abusing their DB privileges. All it takes is a quick PM to a moderator alerting them that a thread requires their attention. Most of the time you don't even need to mention any names because the bullshit happening in the thread is so obvious. In this case, a PM wasn't necessary. By the time I decided "I'm going to PM my favorite moderator about these comments" I already had a PM from him saying he'd handled it.
We all know detailed location talk ought to go in the location's DB entry but we'll never manage to move it all there. The system isn't perfect. Until we've successfully converted all of our locals to full member status, we're kind of stuck like this.. But we can police ourselves with help from our mods, that's why they're here. A friendly reminder that certain discussions can be moved taken to the DB for privacy's sake is all it takes.
