| | | I was talking about smashing the the blockage, not the area that was part of the original building. Now if you want something to frown about, blast the damn stuff off (it would work but at a price).

| | | Ok, we were up there yesterday, there's still a vent open, but without a rope or something, it'd be pretty difficult to get out. So really, there's no need for blasting or smashing.

| | | I forgot they block up that little space above the little building thing. That's a pain but it can still be done, albeit with more effort.

| | | Yeah, when N250 and I went there on Saturday, it was pretty easy to climb up onto that little building-type thing, but immediately after you get into the top vent, you have a good 5-7ft drop to the floor.

| | | yeah, the only logical way in is the little window above the old way in, when you do get in through the window there is a 5ft or so drop to the floor, and by the floor I mean a narrow 3ft wide space between two huge holes, and those holes are probably another 10ft drop or more drop. You can deffinetely still get in but if you fall into one of those holes there is a good chance your not coming back out.

So you mean it's the top vent that's out, I thought it was the one that people used to use.

| | | I just thought of the first time I went up there. It was dark and raining with heavy fog cover, my father and I drove up to the Villa for lack of a better thing to do and saw that the gate at the back was open (a first). We drove all the way up to the top of the hill before the fog cleared and we could see the bunker before us. At that point both of us were terrified for some reason (that whole place creeps me out even in the day), but we went up to the building anyway. We spend about a minute trying to turn around before we drove like hell out of there; we returned in the daylight.

| | | You guys must have taken the back way in, this past Saturday, we went in the main way, by the Retirement Home. Cause all the ways to get up the road were blocked off by chains, K-rails (highway dividers), and polls.

| | | No, a few years ago we took the retirement home entrance. This was while they were still tearing down the PMQ housing.

| | | Really? My father remembers that some of his friends used to go partying there. My uncle used to go up a long while ago with his buddies and some beer, they stopped after seeing and hearing some weird stuff in the building.

| | | My great uncle used to live up there in the 50's/60's when it was still in operation as a radar station. And I don't ever remember hearing anything about hauntings in the building, unless somebody died when it was a cement factory. [last edit 11/29/2007 12:11 AM by nootz - edited 1 times]

| | | Some folks I've talked to figure that energy draws energy; there was a lot of energy at that place while it was in use. Since then I think a few people have gotten killed (by accident or design) while up there partying or such.

| | | I wouldn't doubt it, if someone's going to die, it'd might as well happen in a place that's miles away from civilization (town).

And if you're able to make it back up to that vent, you'll be in extremely rough shape...ie: broken bones.

| | | the question is are we talking about the entrance with the bricks going up the wall to the smaller part of the roof, if thats the one then their use to be 4 windows, 3 are cemented up, but the top left one is open, climbing on a small plank of wood, going in the window then the drop, and on the left and the right are the huge drop offs, but i'm sure their is another way into it, from the side, or the back where the built up cement is

| | | also ive heard about different things up their, from the hobo, to the ghosts, but last time i was up their me and a few guys heard bangs from deep inside the place, but i guess 1 man got electrocuted, and 2 from falling cement, something along those lines, but im saying we have a get together, all of us up their and see whats going on (ex. plan new entrances, find safe ways around the place for kids that want to explore for the first time)

| | | As for the entrances, that top vent (which we were talking about in the first place) is the only "safe" way in, given you don't fall into one of the two holes.
