Boulder Locations

I recently moved from Littleton to Boulder (Colorado for you out of state guys) and I only saw one location on the database (and it's demolished). Anyone know if there are some good sites in the Boulder area?

I'm moving up there soon as well, there looks like there might be some random farm stuff around there, but not much else, i think land in that area is too valuable to leave vacant for very much time, so many places might be torn down etc.

Yeah, I think those guys are right.
Every time I've been up there I haven't seen, well, much of anything. I'm not too sure they even have good drains. You should look though.

I hate Boulder. Nothin' but hippies, stupid young entrepreneurs, pretentious art students and the college frat types.

I'm moving into an apartment with open space across the street with some lakes/small ditch. I might go poke around in there and see if I can find anything, but it's kind of doubtful.

I've seen what might be some good drains just driving around, but the problem is that they're pretty high visibility, even at night.

I had some luck in the pawnee national grasslands... its WAY out east (in Colorado) it it goes on forever.... abandoned cars.... abandoned houses that are nearly all eaten away by dust and wind. The thing about that place is, its so large you sort of have to peck around out there....

Otherwise, boulder is pretty empty of abandonments...

Denvers not so far though, theres a few there.

document, document, document.

pawnee national grasslands

Heh, sure is desolate! Makes for one of my favorite places for 500 yard plus target practice. One could theoretically fire their mounted RPK in 360 degrees and hit nothin' but dirt.
I've never really taken much time to look for anything abandoned out there though. I'm not kidding -the northern grasslands, where I go- there is nothing.

The best locations out east are just like any of those small towns on a Colorado atlas. Pretty much all "towns" out there are completely or almost completely abandoned.

There are some cool locations out side the Pawnee area I've been to, but I prefer outside tiny towns out east. As far as what I've found Boulder... absolutely nothing. I'm gonna keep looking around, but I doubt I'll find much.

I'm also looking for some drains, I'll post if I find anything.

It used to be an old catholic girl school if I remember. It was there in the mid 80's and has been torn down. It was famous for its somewhat satanic basement with all the candles and pentagrams and such. We found Ridgehome to be much more fun back then.

In Boulder parks watch out for rangers, they'll give you tickets for things you wouldn't even think would be against the law.
