A good place in Holland? There are a few and they're sealed off tightly! A lot of money is spend on making sure nobody can get in and security is often tight. But....

This is the CSM sugar factory near Amsterdam. There's camera surveillance on the fences around the factory, several signs that point out: the site is secured with dogs!! (haven't seen 'm) and no walking on the first floor because it's wired with motion detectors!

I tried to do a few pano's. Tell me what you think! Should / can i do this more often or do they really suck hard??

Sick! Awesome shots all around; you better do panos more often!
The only thing that is questionable in this whole set is #2. It's a very interesting and good shot, composition is spot on, but I think you need to work on the framing on that one. The large beam(?) running downward on the right hand side is slightly distracting. If that weren't in the shot it'd be absolutely flawless.

#3 is my absolute favorite.

edit: can't type this morning.

thanks! i know about 2! No way around it i cropped the image already and i try to frame that beam thing out of there, but then the feeling 's gone! So i let it be.
edit: that beam thing now runs from left to right, it's one beam. that has to count for something

these are shot with canon 20D, 17-40mm. I'm gonna try this pano-thing with my old walzflex camera and some "amber glow" slide film.

Great shots, 1 and 2 especially. The column in 2 doesn't really bother me - the setup of the rest of the shot is so good it doesn't really matter.

It looks like vandals haven't done much to the building. High-security is nice like that.

Im Loving picture 3 and 4. I dont know if it is due to an obsession with round objects, but those turned out great!!!

these are shot on a 20d? very nice, what did you do to convert them to Black and White then? I'm sure thats not just desaturate.

@ speed: well they are converting this site into offices, restaurants, a huge cinema and some (luxury) lofts. So that's probably why. But in general, locations are pretty much locked up here.

@ mfd52: yes a 20D. I convert them one at a time. I mostly use the raw-converter and curves. That's it.
