3 and 8 are my favs.

You have an interesting style Alias, with the turned up contrast and (on some) really saturated colors. It works cool in most cases, but a couple of these are really over processed. I will use 7 and 8 as an example for this (although I like 8.)

Cool work man

Do you really think people will spend the time critiquing 22 pictures??? Get real!! Only post 6 and you might get some replies!!!

Some of the compositions are quite nice but spoilt from your absolutely awful photoshop skills. You must be using the new 'puke' filter for photoshop. You really think de-saturating an image whilst making the sky purple is a good idea???? These are over processed and yuk. If you only left photoshop alone you would have some really nice photographs!!

i agree with stoop master
there's a little too much post for my liking
some decent compositions but it looks like the contrast and the saturation was cranked way way up

In my opinion the strongest shots (composition) are 3 and 7 but i do like what you were trying to go for with 13 and 16, they just need to be cropped differently or re-shot. I do agree with the others, too much post work.. but i would prefer to say the treatment is just not the best. A little too dark and the choice in color palette is not my favorite. Correct me if I'm wrong but to me it looks like your using the Hue/Saturation adjustment in Photoshop. Try playing with the Curves adjustment tool. Much better control. Also might help to calibrate your monitor.

great location. lots of potential.

Nice set, the post processing in a few(21..) is very obvious but other then thoes few they are great. That place looks fun, and your shots make it look even funer... (more fun)

Whoa. To my eye these look awful. As St00p said, some of the compositions are quite good, and the location looks interesting, but the processing is hideous.

I know in a previous post you said that you hated the way your photos looked on different monitors (but liked them on your monitor) - have you had a chance to look into that further? Perhaps you need a new/better/calibrated monitor.

From the comments so far it seems your photography is like Marmite, it's either loved or hated. But that could be taken in a good way, better to provoke one or other feeling in people than none at all?

Ignoring stoop_master's comments about your "puke" filter.

I really enjoyed looking at these photos and they are well done. It's your vision not theirs. Good job.

Just to clarify, I didn't mean to be overly harsh. My concern, based on previous comments, was that perhaps the equipment Alias is using might be causing some problems, and what looks good to him on his monitor might not be what he intended once it is viewed on other equipment. If there isn't that sort of technical problem occurring and what I see is what he intended it to look like, then I'll just say that it's not my taste and leave it at that.

I am so glad my images cause this reaction as I believe that art which is all part of what I do with some of my images, is created to provoke different opinions and reactions, I respect everyones opinions, stoop is a purist who believes all images should be as taken and I agree with him on a lot of images this is the case and I have copies of these images edited correctly but I also like the provocative edits as well.
