|  | | | On my way home from Covington, GA a few weeks ago I noticed what appeared to be a group of abandoned structures in the woods off the side of the road. Next time, armed with my camera, I decided to head that direction to see what was there.
Turns out it’s an abandoned house. It looks like it was built sometime in the early 20th century; there is no central heat and the main bedrooms and living area are built around a group of small corner fireplaces. There is a fuse panel in the kitchen, and the couple of rooms that have light switches added on have the old round push-button toggle switches.
The outer walls of the house are all stone, save for a small wood addition in the back.
