Hi, I don't know if there's anybody from Newfoundland who is very active in this site, but I'm going to make it a goal to get some pictures and locations up here. If anybody reading this is from Newfoundland, feel free to give some suggestions of where some cool spots might be!

Alright, here's one to get started, nice and easy, and conveniently open to the public, though most people just like to look at the light houses...there's also a nice war bunker that most people like to ignore, so I took some shots in some of the less visited areas.

Good to see someone from the Rock again. There used to be a group called NUES when I was a U.E. pup but I have no clue what happened to them.

ya, I just moved out here from Ontario, found their website and all that, tried to contact them, no dice...maybe they grew up or moved to Alberta like the trend goes.

Newfoundland is the home to some extremely cool DND relics if I'm not mistaken.

Stephenville has allot of potential. When I was visiting there last summer there are abandoned hangars, and a ton of boarded up buildings. As well the Domtar paper mill is closed.

Wish I could join you all. My aunt lives there. Really beautiful place. Shelly is so jealous.

A mirage is not an optical illusion. It is a real phenomenon, and one can take photographs of it. The interpretation of the image, however, is up to the fantasy of the human mind.

Ya, there are tons of places around Newfoundland, a lot of them take a bit of a journey to get to, but St. John's has lots of stuff too. Seems to be the trend that since the fishery deteriorated many people moved West, leaving behind all sorts of infrastructure. There's even whole towns that have been relocated to easier to manage places.

Red Cliff is on my hitlist once I get some time to get to it, I'll try to document as much as I can.

There are no pictures in the DB but it sounds as if it would be well worth the trip. Underground tunnels, etc.
