Good heavens, do you have access to that album? It would be great if you could scan those in to preserve them, and perhaps share them with WWII enthusiast sites.

Don't get me wrong. They were just neglected Soviet navy ships, not something from the Second World War, and the pics were taken from a passing ship with a rather short telephoto lens - I had to use a magnifying glass to see them.

Cool. I've heard the stories of how the Soviet fleet was basically just left to rot on the coast of Russia. Must be mind boggling.

Yeah. There's a lot of (Soviet war)ship graveyards in Russia. I've found couple of them with Google Earth - a dozen ships on their side in a remote bay etc.

I also saw some old navy/coast guard/something ships while visiting Vysotsk, but not all of them were abandoned, so I couldn't take a closer look.
