Eaton Factory

This has probably been posted before, but I recently went to the abondoned factory in Eaton (about 10 miles N of Greeley). This was pretty spur of the moment, so I neglected to grab my flashlight, which kept me from exploring much of the inside, but here are some pictures that I was able to take. I am planning another trip out there soon (this time with a flash light!), to explore more of the inside.

At first, I thought,"Eaton, might as well be on the damn moon."

However, after viewing these picture, I began to think,"I've never been to the moon."

It's a pretty cool place. I was there a few weeks back with Lexiphoto and secretdestroyers. I'd say it's definitely worth the drive. Watch out for the ceiling in a few places, though, it can be a bit dodgy.

By the way, you didn't happen to find a disembodied cat head, did you?

do you know how to waltz?

Thanks for the other pictures, that really gives me an idea of what to look for next time I go back. I have noticed many similarities to the sugar factory located in Longmont. They seem to have the same outside brickwork and much of the same type of machinery. I guess that makes sense, they were both sugar factories.

Does anyone know if both factories were owned by the same company??

I think they are both Great Western Sugar. So I think same Corp.
