| | | I know there was at one point a thriving coal industry in Nova Scotia. Any ideas about abandoned towns or such? I'm looking up ghost towns in NS now.

| | | I don't know about anyone else, but these seem the most interesting places to investigate and look around. I think both locations, Roseburn and Rockington are in Cape Breton but I can't find any information on either of them except the website listed above. Has anyone here heard stories or histories of the locations? Is there any ghost towns closer to Halifax? I heard about one fishing village that contains a mill, a house, and a fishery completely abandoned in the 1800's. Comments/suggestions on finding more information on ghost town?

That almost sounds like the old East Jeddore Fish Plant, before Baker's Point Fish Plant was opened
