I went hiking at Ecola State Park, and a sign on the way to the campsite said there was this site along the trail, near the viewpoint of the lighthouse. Hell Yeah! Wasnt even planning on it. So I come up to it and its completly built into the ground, with ventilation shafts sticking out. Two large metal doors were bolted and locked shut. Damn. Later on I was bored and walking around the campsite and decided to give it another look. On the door closest to the viewpoint I found a way in. If you face the door in the upper left hand corner someone pried back a piece of metal barely allowing me to squeeze in! However, inside was pretty disappointing, there is nothing left, it got stripped ages ago. And now it is also inhabited by bats. Still pretty interesting though. Pics coming soon after I resize them.

Yeah, an old SCR-270 system was there.

Suposibly out in Christmas Lake here in Oregon, they shut down the Over-the-horizon radar system there.
