| | | So, I'm helping out a grad student who's doing a semester project for journalism on draining and such. Made for an odd day, but at least I had some fun and learned the quality of the waterproofing on my boots. (It was niiiiice)
| (the grad student I'm helping out. Seemed nice enough)

| Our only really nice stone arched construction here under CoMo.

| Check the Wellington's on her feet. So nifty.

| (That power-plant in the background? Hell yeah, I've infiltrated that like a fucking ninja-turtle!

I think she got some pretty nice pictures too, I'll see if I can get her to post them. [last edit 1/28/2007 8:57 AM by kjohnnytarr - edited 1 times]

| | | Im having a little trouble believing this is a grad student's project. These are a bit lower quality than Id expect from someone who's already got their 4 year. I know money is tight in college, but if you are in school for photojournalism it would seem a student loan for a nice camera would be a must. But if I am misreading it and they are JUST a journalism major, then it would be a bit more understandable. Regardless I think he/she needs to work on his/her composition and flash work. A decent flash capable of bouncing light would do a few of these photos a lot more justice. Different angles other than straight forward, eye level and centered always helps to pull photos out of the amateur arena. [last edit 1/28/2007 2:09 PM by LittleJoe - edited 2 times]

yeah Joe, like mfd52 said, these aren't the grad student's pics. These are just my documentation of what's going on. She was shooting with a pretty bad-ass camera provided by the J-school, which made me jealous.

Samsung point and shoot. Normally I have it on a tripod, but yesterday I was more concerned with playing my part as the "guide" than taking pics, so I just snapped these pics on the fly.
