Re-Opening The Fredericton Under Ground File

Some of you may know a member by the name of Toxictoaster and his work with the Fredericton Under Ground [FUG] Well i am re-opening this case, It all started On January 12th, my freind is a student at UNB and invited me to come check out his school with a couple of his classmates, get a feel of what its like. Now I have been on campus a bit, but never in all my life have i went into the buildings so i was amazed with all the buildings and what not. We over heard some people talking about "the tunnels" and how they should go back, very posibly ToxicToaster himself.

So as we were walking inside these buildings looking for these entrences, i noticed a comp on, and reasearched in google "UNB tunnels" and this site came up, with all of toxic's posts, so I naturaly read all of his posts and eventualy contacted me, To be nice, and avoid lawyer confrontation I can only say a little about Toxic, He is very smart, and evasive when you ask him questions, eventualy i got a bit of a map he was working on, with the ledgend cut out. he also gave me a letter code, and a number code, the letter code i cant tell you, but the number code (which i think is a throw off) is the same numbers from the show lost.

So i got some guys together, and entered the tunnels after finding an entrence (on my first try) and investigated, the tunnels, we went down from the hospital to the Mcleod and MacGee building, then returned and almost went down another tunnel, but it had people and they were doing construstion on the tunnel, so we aborted and returned to my apartment to think. We desided to go late at night, when they went home, and then we had the opertunity to meet Toxic in person, he showed us a few tricks, and led us in the right direction to the downtown fredericton tunnels by the LBR. Since we didnt have a printer, we made a quick map and returned.

we went through the construction tunnel, and through EVER SINGLE UNB TUNNEL THERE IS. but we could not find the downtown tunnels. by the time we got to the LBR, we had a lot of things going againts us, we never did this kind of thing, my freind was sick before he entered and it worsend when he was in there, i burnt myself on a pipe and was suffering from a painful hand, we drank all of our water and we had been down ther for six hours. six long painful hours of walking. we were thinking of sleeping in the crawl spaces it was so bad. so we desided to abort and get some rest and better directions on these tunnels and better kit.

We did very well for our time in the tunnels, we understand them fully and cant wait to go back donw vert soon. So i guess the point of this post is to tell everyone that the FUG is back on location and will dig for the answers. also, if anyone is fimilar about the case and can provide some helpful information, it would be aprecated.

Hey, Me and some of my friends have been down exploring the tunnels recently as well, I had though about contacting toxicoaster but i figured he had stopped coming to the forum. Not really interested in getting maps or anything, half the fun is doing that ourselves, but we may run onto each other down there sometime. A friend of mine also seems to know someone who has been into the Fredericton tunnel system. I don't think that they are connected to UNB. the tunnel at the LBR ends at the abandoned pool. do you think that there is another entrance to a further tunnel system in the LBR? here is a pic of me inside the old pool

yes the tunnels are connected, the entrence may just be blocked, we have gotten into the downtown part ourselfs we have just encountered some danger so we wont put up these other entrences untill its safe (PS, if this is brad or josh, dont bother, turn back now)

nope, not brad or josh, Like I said I'm just getting started. And I'm not really interested in having the entrances given to me since most of the fun is searching myself, but it is good to know that I will not be searching for something that doesn't exist.

PS what kind of danger are you talking about exactly?

There is also the danger of Asbestos Dust, this stuff WILL hurt you, if you dont have any other entrence then the one near it (you know what one) then i am not just suggesting, i am demanding that you wear the proper protection in thouse tunnels under construction. you will need.
- Some form of a full face mask (balaclava)
- Something to protect your air flow (breathing mask, i.e. painters mask, if you have it gas mask)
- Long sleaves, dont let any part of your skin touch this tunnel, if you do, ABORT and wash your skin off with some snow or something.

You also dont want to spend any time in these tunnels, you dont want to play around with this stuff, it can cause lots of long term damage, and plenty of short term damage, just google it. when you are faced with this kind of Bio-Hazard chemicals you dont know how much they use, where they use it, how it will affect you personaly etc. Like they say in the warning lables, DANGER, Do Not Enter also means, Tasty food, do not eat. This is like DANGER, Do not cry to me if you get hurt

/me eats some Asbestos..

it puts hair on your chest! really it does!

You shake my hand, say “pleased to meet you.” Look me in the eye, I don’t believe you. TUI, as long as I’m still alive. I live despite you. Realize I’m not one of your kind, I’m nothing like you.

Thats not the only place where you get hair, you will get hair in your lungs, in your mouth, in your ears, on your eyes, and inside most of your internal organs, better go out and pick up some gillette, the best a man can get

That looks really neat.

I was born in Fredericton, but have lived here in Halifornia for my whole life. I would like to make a trip there sometime and check this out, how extensive are they?
