these shots are not technically bad... the first is a little out of focus or blurry. but the subject matter is bland. try to find more interesting compositions. be more imaginative.

I dont really know off the top of my head. i am still using my sony cyber-shot, which is an ok PnS, while i am in the market for a digital SLR.

yeah i dont know why they are so different in color. Could it have been the light? you can tell that the color of the museum is kinda close, but it looks kinda redish.

1. This could be good. but for me its out of focus. only the neon sign is focused propoerly the rest is kind of blurry. maybe your tripod moved a bit or somehitng.

2. I this photo is boring. its just....bla. I hope this helps you but see if you can find something more intresting or inspiring.

3. This photo I really like It has good composition even though there could be a bit more of the skyline. but I love the whole setup. good job on this one.

3. i like this one the best but i would have centered everything ... it's good to not center things and go with the safe rule of thirds but you are so close to centering things it just takes a bit away to not be dead on. i kinda feel like the horizon in this shot may be a little higher on the left.. but i've had a couple beers so that might be it as well.

1. i like the composition of this one a bit more but it seems like this is the exact same shot as 3 just zoomed in... a tad blurry but that might be because it was zoomed in from where 3 was taken. wind could make it soft at that focal length.(i'm just guessing here .. really)

2. the colors are ok and you've sort of used the rule of thirds but you can't see the top of the left pillar or the peak of the roof. you have essentially created 3 main focal points in the composition and it's hard for the viewer to know what takes precedence.

just my .02

keep on shooting
