| | | Okay, so I came across this drain map of Orange County (California). I was wondering if anyone had seen a similar thing for any areas in Colorado?

| | | Unless you're willing ( and I'm far too lazy, and into the "what's around the next bend?" addiction ) to go into public records, I'm pretty sure there is no other way to obtain any worthwhile drainage maps for the front range. Trust me, I looked for a long time all over the net; the best leads I ever got were from city planning sites, T-Rex sites and construction notes/blogs. And while we've got a few big drains, Colorado just isn't developed enough to have Dungeon Systems, or CSO complexes. 'Dunno about the 'Springs because I've never toured the town much for drains, but Denver will most likely never yield more than twenty or so big drains. Heh, and I'm being pretty modest by calling our drains big. But hey, they don't have to be Phalen Creek to be considered a good drain! I love TIL to death, and that place is tiny compared to Rivergate Hollows ( Which is tiny in comparison to any drain in the twin cities, Aussieland, the UK or Canada ) I still have hope that the codenamed Crystal Pepsi will turn out to be as large, or more complex than Rivergate. I also am very excited about the Florida & Santa Fe construction, that's gonna be huge too. 'Yer best bet is to take a stroll along a cities main waterway(s), or to start popping manholes.

| | | If you play your cards right the city water board might have a map. Really though Colorado cities are continually cited as having horribly insufficient drainage systems.

| | | I've talked to a few connections I've got with the city planner in my city. Connections meaning: his kids, who stealthily worked it into dinner-table conversation. No luck. I just think I'd get a major kick out of knowing just where everything is. Plus I think it'd make a beautiful pattern base intended for fabric or a t-shirt. Something like that.

| | | I've recently gotten info on an individual who it seems once had maps of the utility tunnels here. That would be a big deal! I'm trying to contact this explorer in question, I'll tell how it goes later.
It seemed like a good idea at the time... |

| | | I would really like to hear the results also. I am from Colorado Springs but I am going to be heading up to Denver soon to look at some sites.
