I have does some digging and I think Imperial Oil [ExxonMobil]now owns the site, but as far as I could tell, from the last few seasons the Admin buildings and the buildings to the East (West of where the tank was) seem to be empty/abandoned, just from precursory drive-bys off baseline (is amazing what a observant passenger can see, LOL)
but I my self haven't been on the property.
just inquisitive researching and, a keen knack for urban/civic history.
hope this helps the Vet UER's, as hell, I'm just a simple rookie/newbie

| | | | The refinery is old news. What you may not realize is how large the plant used to be, even in 1976. Demolition got to it long before the tornado, and continues to pick at the few remaining buildings.

When did it close, do you happen to know?
I would suspect that it spanned farther south, was it not
(I'm Guessing here the old McColl-Frontenac refinery? opened around 1951? (texaco swallowed 'em I think...))
