People are going to eat you alive. Although that is a great tool everyone forgets about. A guy I know who will remain annoymous used a car jack and a come along(wanted two points of stress) and a buddy to open a large door that he could see was unlocked but wood and trash had fallen and blocked the door.
The only damage was some rust was crushed.

You can use one of them to get a hefty manhole open too, but you need a block of wood to extend it, and a iron step you can trust.
It seemed like a good idea at the time... |
