| | | Jesus. Last night was probably the most insane Halloween I've ever had. Me and a buddy of mine were up at my high school taking pics from the roof, when I spotted a partially open window. Being interested, I reached through the gap to open the window wide enough to get in, when, right in front of me I see the silhouette of a janitor cleaning the room. The guy was 15 feet away. Knowing he almost definitely saw us, or at least heard us talking out on the roof, we got out of there in a hurry, practically tossing ourselves off the roof and running until we were off the campus entirely. A few minutes later, we heard police sirens approaching, but it turned out we were safe. I swear I had a heart attack when I first saw the janitor standing there in front of me. We were so lucky... Note to Self: Always check before going into a new area... [last edit 11/1/2006 6:05 PM by Zokk_ - edited 6 times]
Yeah, well, having your planet blown up can have that effect on a species. |

| | | Next time remember that cops arent going to turn on their sirens if your trespassing. Its not really not an emergency and it wouldnt be of any advantage to them.
Trying to win hearts and minds, but willing to splatter them if neccesary. |

| | | Hum. I'd never thought about that but the siren would be more of an advantage to the trespasser by giving them some time to get away. Guess i should remember that.

| | | i really dont find much of an interest in active/occupied structures. to me its just blatant trespassing however i can understand the thrill of it. just doesnt do much for me.

I find that there are different "levels" of a large complex building like a school. By that I mean, you have places everyone goes, places only staff goes, places no-one at all goes, etc, and that makes it interesting. It's like studying a living thing versus it's skeleton. On the subject of schools, I love exploring my college's campus (for the reason's above), but I went to the HS that is supposed to be fun to explore here, and that just wasn't the same. I couldn't get a feel for the history of it, and that's part of what I enjoy.
It seemed like a good idea at the time... |

| | | Most schools are boring because all the floors are built identically halls, science wings, room placement, etc
