| | | Recently I've begun carrying a mini maglite around. It's not so much for if I find a site, but rather just force of habit. Does this happen to anybody?

| | | I use my maglight to find my way up to bed at night. And it's fun to freak out the crackhead neighbors by shining a big ol' light on their bedroom window (only did that a couple times )

Yeah, my bedroom is in the basement, so most times i use my mag to find my way to bed, as my lightswitch is all the way up the stairs. It's a bitch to walk through a basement in the pitch black.

| | | Pretty much any building I'm in, I compulsively check the doorknobs. Even the ones to closets I pass everyday in my dorm. Sometimes it pays off. I found a janitor's closet where I can do laundry without wasting quarters at the student laundry room. Extra quarters equals extra Snickers. ;)
It seemed like a good idea at the time... |

Yup, I have an LED on my keychain that I use most the time (sometimes the cell phone if I don't have my keys) as my maglite almost always is in my backpack.
On a completely unrelated note, during any type of blackout my parents come to me for flashlights now...
Here's a lockpick. It might be handy if you, the master of unlocking, take it with you. |

Agreed. Cell phones can make great lights AT NIGHT. There's no way in hell you'll be able to see any better if there's even a little bit of daylight outside... But, if it's pitch black, a cell phone can be a godsend.

My friend got me into that habit before I got into UE. He found like 3 rooms in our school that nobody knew existed, some weird prop closets for the drama department, just by trying a door in the bathroom.

| | | I always have a camera, tripod, flashlight and knife on me. I'm always the go-to guy when any of my friends needs to open a box or cut something. Also, I always look for non-destructive ways into any buildings I am around.

| | | i carry a light on me at all times. sometimes even multiple. i used to carry my mini mag a lot, but that broke, so now i carry either my mini mag size LED light, or a UPS LED keychain light. its a pretty great feeling when someone at school needs to do something in the dark (behind a computer or something) and i hand them a big light. i also tend to frequently try doors just incase they open to my schools harem. unfortunatley, i have yet to find it.
