So back in the day there was a rumor going around that you could go inside the bridge. I am here to tell you that is no rumor. A friend and I found a hole in the fence that goes around the base of the north side pilling I guess you could call it. There was also a ladder left by a work crew. At any rate you can get in side the bridge structure and climb up a long ladder that will take you to the road level and then to another ladder that will take you all the way to the top where there is a little red lite that you just have to touch. The view is the best. Check it out.

Well done tmw. Back in the mid 80's when I was living in Van, I got permission to climb to the top. You are right, it's amazing. I could never climb that ladder if it was open. It's dark, and with camera gear was about 20 minutes going up. And that's from road level.

Congrats for getting in at the bottom; exceptional work man. I got up a second time a few years later, for a video shoot. Did you take any photos? Awesome infil. Imagine waiting for the sunrise from the top! Something tells me T.L. and Toad will be up there very soon :)

Cheers,

A.

We went up at night which would have been great for some night lite shots but alas we did not have a camara.
