... (not so much of a movie guy, unless it's Forrest Gump)
It seemed like a good idea at the time... |

| | | They were stuck in a jail cell and Jacki Chan peed on a shirt, wrapped the shirt around two of the bars, put a stick of wood through the shirt (to use as a kind of lever) and twisted the wood till the bars were bowed enough for them to squeeze through. The idea behind this is that the cloth is stronger when it's wet. I think, with strong enough cloth, it is technically possible. However I don't know that anyone could twist with enough force to bend the bars, than theres the problem of getting through the bars. Than you have to do it again to get out.

It's a pretty sound theory depending on the size of the bar of course. It's the same reasoning behind being unable to turn a bolt with a socket wrench and sheering the bolt in half after sliding a 3 foot peice of pipe over the handle.

The Anarchist's Cookbook is a period piece. It's outdated, and gives anarchists a bad name.
|
Because smashing windows, setting things on fire, and fighting with the police doesn't give you a bad name....
