|  | | | One of Saskatchewan's most explored locations is gone. I happened to pass through Moose Jaw today and much to my surprise there was a demolition crew working on the old Providence Hospital (http://www.uer.ca/...ow.asp?locid=23805). They are already well over half done the demolition with the majority of the original building already gone.
I knew they would finally find a company that could get the job done. After several failed attempts to tender out the demolition I was hoping the city would give up as they have in the past. However they kept tendering till someone actually began tearing the hospital down.
On the left hand side through the missing wall is the morgue

| | | | yeah that really sucks...i was there over the weekend as well....looks like i got into urbexing a little *too* late.
moose jaw still has some good looking abandoned buildings in the industrial area, though.
the next biggest place is the mental hospital, i want to infiltrate that place so friggin bad!

That's okay, I bet it will be replaced with an uber cool condo to explore. :< They just don't build things like they used to anymore.
