| | | come on people. If everyone used the search button there would be no new posts. And when 3+ people tell some new guy to use the search button all in a row, thats just sad. Don't you think he/she would have understood when the first person said it? Why must you repeat them? Does it serve a purpose? No. Are you just annoying the original poster and everyone else that reads it? Yes. Some people these days. [last edit 8/31/2006 1:36 AM by Watson516 - edited 1 times]

That may be partially true, but I have a few problems with it: 1. There'd be less new threads, not posts. Therefore the forums would be less cluttered. 2. The two posts saying to use the search button were posted simultaneously, so it's not like we're intentionally doing it. 3. He's not just some new guy, he's a good friend of mine . I've told him before that he shouldn't do this. All that said, I probably wouldn't have even bothered to blabber about the search function if there was more to the post. Come on people, take the effort to at least use FULL SENTENCES. There, I'm done now, you can continue on enjoying your undoubtedly beautiful life. Edit: By the way, nice avatar Watson! 1. Less threads = less posts 2. In this thread yes, but in others no 3. Ok.

| | | less threads doesn't mean less posts, it means posts go into previous threads which means less threads.. also, this is the wrong forum.

But if it's as useless as this, when there's other threads on the same topic, why would we want it to clutter things up? Quality not quantity.
Edit: We should get back on topic now, no need for flame wars. [last edit 8/31/2006 6:00 AM by Tyralus - edited 1 times]

| | | Maybe if the region wasn't called "other" it wouldn't attract these kinds of posts. I also don't understand why saskatchewan is lumped in with PEI, etc. I know those regions are not very active but it makes it a pain if you're only interested in one of the provinces lumped into the category.

I've been noticing lately that Manitoba and Nova Scotia seem to be significantly more active in the forums than the other "other" category provinces. Perhaps it's time for a change?

| | | Maybe provinces that share borders should be lumped together. Or maybe that could be a user preference. Every time you click on a particular province it shows you the posts from any province or state that borders the one your interested in.

| | | Yes, the majority of us have heard of bumping as a method of bypassing a lock. It's gotten pretty popular lately. Is there anything, specifically, that you wanted to know about it?

| | | well, i understand the concept, but how do you...do it don't you just need a key that fits in the lock? what's the proper "bumping" technique?

| | | Sort of. You need to get a blank that fits in the keyway you want to bump, than you need to make it into a bumpkey or have somone else make the correct cuts for one.

| | | It can also screw up the lock your trying to access by bending the pins. So don't do it to somebody you know.

Remember those two people at the beginning of this thread that told you to search? Maybe you should listen to them.
