| | | Look up the word "caught" in the thread search and I bet you'll find a lot of results. I've read some stories with punishments from police interrogation, to pending lawsuits, and to just a warning from a cop when you're caught.

They will probably shoot you in the face for being a minor.

Outstanding advice. Your parent can be held liable for damages you cause. A retainer fee for a criminal lawyer starts at one grand, and keeps going from there.

| | | Calm down blackhawk, the thread was on trespassing, not vandalism. No 'damages'. But if you're 17 they could charge you as an adult if they felt so moved. Which they prabably would if they were gonna put together a whole court case.

Things can escalate quicky when cops are pissed; just the criminal lawyer's retainer fee should make one think twice. A deviant trespass conviction can cause others problems as well until it can be expunge, which in your state MindHacker is 5 years.

| | | here in CO a good friend of mine received a felony trespassing at the ripe old age of 15. this was awhile ago and the circumstances were not good... the dumb broad had a backpack full of naughtyness (cigs, paraphenalia, ect.) and an attitude. not wise. this wasnt a UE incident though, interestingly enough. but none the less, the police on the scene just destroyed her illegal holdings and braught her in on tresspassing and criminal mischief.

Thanks for the off topic jargon. Are your nuts a little bigger now? Again, yes what you said is true, but did he ever mention anything about lawyers fees? No, he asked about legailty issues. I answered with a true and valid statement. Back to the thread, if you really want to look it up yourself you can go to www.findlaw.com, click on the legal professionals tab, go to "cases and codes" then find your state. It may be kinda hard to read, but if you have half a brain you can figure it out.

Is this what your referring too?

Are your cumming hard right now for thinking you berating me? The legal penalties for the minor are small compared to the legal expenses, and possible civil suits that will be incurred. This is part of giving sound advice as to the consequences of getting caught.

| | | All depends on the cop, then what mood the judge is in. If you are out with people over 18, they might only charge them, and not you (this personally happened to me, with something other than UE). Police often want less court systems to go to, at least around Northern Virginia, so they will take an adult over a minor generally. The most in this area you'd probably get is 50 hours of community service, which isn't much. Sometimes they have a fine, sometimes not. I didn't even waste time having a lawyer for my case, wound up with 47 service hours, 3 hours of a class, and court fees.

The original thread is:"For anyone that 17 yrs old or younger when the police catch them what do you think the worst punishment is ??? I was caught by the police once and they just asked me to leave just wondering if anyone ever got worse?? " tron_2.0 my posts on this thread have been accurate and reasonable until you you started posting in this thread. After you posted all my entries were dead on the money. Including this one. Your trying to bust my rocks, but your just making a drooling slack-jawed spectacle of yourself. Go ahead and keep following my heels into to threads your motives are as transparent as they are unjustified. I'm enjoying this; anytime you see me grinning like this you better bug out. ******************************************************************************* Circ4, what you say is prolly what you'll get, most times less if your not damaging anything, and not committing a felony, or making yourself a menace in general. Minors do not have the same rights as adult offenders, it works in your favor usually, but not always. Laws vary from state to state, and on a municipal level as well. This gives a rough guild to how the system might work: http://www.scselfs...juvdel/process.htm Outcomes are never a sure thing, best to avoid placing yourself in the system to begin with.
