| | | I found the site of a coal-fired power plant that was torn down and replaced with a mullet-world. It was along a river, and the coal was delivered by barge. There were door/chute things through which the coal was moved into underground storage, or so the doors would indicate. They're along the water, and inaccessible to the likes of me (lack of wanting to dangle over nasty water with metal pointy bits in it). But, there's a little shack in the voltage step-up "substation" that was with the power plant, which is still there, but all discombobulated (and unhooked). In said shack, there may or may not be a ladder going down to a room of indeterminate size with water covering the floor. By the river, there's a concrete water inlet that I can't see into very far. Question is, does anybody have any experience with coal storage rooms that barges off-load into? Or power plants along rivers which have shacks in the substation that lead underground? A person going into the water filled room would have to be ballstastic, and I don't think I'm there yet (above pointy metal bits in nasty water again), so any information would be greatly appreciated as to possibly the height of the room, what it was for, if it could connect to coal rooms, if it could have random holes in the floor I would fall through if I were to develop bigger balls and buy some hip waders or a small raft, etc. Thanks
