| | | In Edm there is a ENTIRE mall that is abandon IDK if its possible to enter without getting police or security all over yah, but it would deffinetly be cool to go through and see the a once mighty mall now silenced. Also has anyone gone in here after the closer ?? If anyone in Edmonton would like to tackle this shout out. We also could go about talking to the owners to do this ??

| | | I have done it a few times. Prolly one of the most challenging entries out there. I would link to my photos of it but my webserver is down for repoairs at this momoent. The best part of the explore is trying to take pics of the guard and his dog without being spotted. I have never been caught there bu had a ton of close calls.

| | | I have only done the mall twice but in both cases I spent a good part of the day inside. The best part is dodging the guard the whole time. We explore this one in sock feet so we do not make noise. [last edit 6/22/2006 8:08 PM by Skaught - edited 1 times]

| | | In fact Nox, Fyre and I were inside at the same time but we were so quiet and careful we never ran into the other group. We did say hello to the guard's girlfriend however who was delivering cookies to her lover. ;)

| | | I left Edmonton for Toronto in 1995 and I used to live down the street from Heritage (at 118 St/23 Av). At that time it was very much an active, busy mall. Is it really just sitting there rotting away? Has another mall opened nearby to take its place?? That area is so populated now and 111 St/23 Av is such a perfect corner for a mall...

| | | It is being turned into an urban mixed use development. It is not rotting but is just frozen in time. It still has power, water, heat etc. Most of the stores are now in stand alone buildings in the parking lot to the south.

| | | is anyone still interested in checking out whats left of the mall? apparently i was in there when i was a kid, but i dont remember and checking out the pics that were posted in the link above, didnt ring a bell. im new to this site and exploring and heritage would be the best place to explore. i've always been curious as to what its like inside. i'll admit that i've been lurking on this site for a couple months lol, so it'd be nice to meet some of you. i dont live too far from heritage either, 5 mins....

| | | Go do a scout and see what you find, post some current pics and update us on the situation at the mall. I mean heck you are only 5 mins away, who knows you might just stumble upon an easy entrance.

| | | Alright, as I said, i'm new to all of this. So it sounds like im just supposed to take some pictures of the mall....different sides and anything important that may be close to it? I know they had all the doors boarded up, but they started tearing down part of the mall a few months ago (the south east side of the mall). As far as my camera, it should be good, although I don't have a tripod and I'm not an expert cameraman lol. It's a Canon Powershot A510.

| | | Hello, new to this, moved here from welland, Ontario, where I had started some explorations of my hometown (we have a downtown core that has pretty much died, so lotsa easy stuff to get into) and want to explore some new territory. Would love top help with this any way i could.....I live near Whyte Avenue, so I am on the south side as well, but not sure where Heritage mall is? Let me know!
