i took a trip to the decaying foundry that lexiphoto previously covered. had a bit of picture-taking fun.

^WTF is this stuff? Sulfur maybe?

^This room was interesting. My guess is, it was a blast furnace, and i have a hunch that the walls are lined with everyone's favourite deadly fiber.

And finally, my UE buddy.

Let me know what you all think.

Very nice, and I'm with N on the crane.

The substance you thought might be sulphur is actually Ethyl Methyl Bad Shit. Very toxic and common in industrial sites.

I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread.

Your pics are fine. That place is pretty photogenic. I was lucky the times I have been there because storms were just rolling in and/or raining.

I like this photo best becuase I could look at rust all the time and not be bored of it.

Thanks, Lex. I appreciate it. I think I might go back sometime this week to do some macro work on the old metal and rust.
