Ok, not that much UE content, but..

Anybody been to the Titan 2 museum in Green Valley, AZ? I'm planning a trip to the US in maybe a few months, and it looks like this museum is a good opportunity to see a missile complex just like it was when in operation. Most other complexes are either destroyed or more or less inaccessible..

You can still get into a couple Titan II sites, the control domes at least. I found one shortly after visiting that museum, and was able to get some good comparison photos.

Turn off the internet and go play outside.

I visited the Titan II museum in 1998 and I would highly recommend it. It is the best preserved example of a Titan II museum anywhere and it is really cool to see what everything looked like in its glory days. I am very anxious to visit again sometime.

Also if you are in the area, I would recommend Biosphere 2 (if Gene Stewart is working, I recommend him above all other tour guides), the Pima Air Museum, and if you have time to make reservations beforehand, the AMARC facility at Davis-Monthan AFB. Hope you have a great trip!

It is the ONLY preserved example. All others were mostly destroyed per SALT treaties.

Everyone has a dark side, mines just a little more illuminated.

I toured it in December and really enjoyed it. Also check out the "boneyard" tour if you are near the Pima Air and Space Museum.

Very cool, but it is only open certain days of the week.

That is correct, Monday through Friday.
