Locksmithing In Winnipeg

Hi Manitoba Crew,

I recently inquired about locksmithing courses at Red River and was told that they weren't available in Manitoba and that I would have to look out-of-province. Has anyone ever taken any official courses, and if so where did you get the material and take the exams?

Thanks

The only locksmithing course that I know of where I know people have done it is the foley belsaw home correspondence course in the US. I've heard it's a fairly good product. Check out www.lockpicking101.com...they have a good locksmithing business information forum and some Canadians frequent that site. ~Grit

At what point are you considered an explorer and not a tourist?

"Hello, my name is Tom. I work for Sorat, a parent company of Delouge. We're doing a general recall for refrigerators 23456B. Have you had any problems?"
"No... no problems."
"So your fridge is running?" "Yes." "Then you better go catch it!" -Kelsey and Drran

And Curious, how do you know we're not explorers? Do you have magical urban explorer radar?

Bingo Just kidding, the only reason I said that is the majority of people who have come onto this forum don't explore or they are interested in the beginning and quickly lose interest.

My definition of a tourist is someone who does not do any scouting and only explores when someone else finds it.

Heh, that doesn't apply to me then. Lorvin and I (as well as another friend) explored that apartment we've been talking about on Maryland that we found ourselves. It was a pretty cool place.
