Oh yeah, I knew I forgot to mention something. Yeah, the pig factory? Looked like they're doing some work on that. Stopped by while I was at USY the other day, saw a guy on a raised scaffold fucking with the lights. Boy does it EVER smell.

Its actually being demolished. Unfortunately, the place was only an auctioning area so no killing was done there.

But I do know a couple of buildings now vacant where this did occur.

This city reminds me a lot of Detroit, the old brick buildings, abandoned this and that all over, and some things that look like they should be abandoned but are actually being used.

My god, you can hardly turn around without bumping into an abandoned old house.

I was bored, and lost at many times, so poked around for awhile today/tonight... Most of the old places really aren't very photo worthy at all so I barely took any pics.

Beware teh Orb which guards these stairs!

In the past it was said "When you can walk the rice paper without tearing it, then your steps will not be heard"... but thats kind of outdated, I mean who walks on rice paper...

How about... "When you can walk the slimy rotten roof without falling through, then you can get into this garage".

Jester, while a lot of the residential abandonments we have here aren't that exciting, we have a few commercial/industrial gems you could likely access if you asked the right people.

Oh I didn't mean that to sound that there was nothing else, the city seems to have all sorts of potential targets. I was just pointing out that the sheer volume of the old houses is staggering in comparison with most other cities.

Industrial and commercial appears to be that way as well, with an abundance of interesting looking places around. I just haven't had the time to devote to investigating any of them, hopefully I can in the couple of days I have left in town.

And so does everyone else in this city. Can anyone really tell me what the appeal of this building is after you have been there more than two times?

yeah.. I've been there three times. after the second time the only reason I had fun was because I was drunk and stepped on a nail and ended up with a board stuck to my foot. (which is signature of a good time)

re-visiting is about as pointless as re-watching Titanic. Kind of a "been there, done that, took a photo, pissed off the roof, wouldn't care to go back" sort of situation.
