|  | | | A series of small houses in the middle of nowhere located in Vernon, I'v been to them before... But didn't actually go in any because I was stuck with the sketchy partner to hold arms with.
Anybody hear anything on them? I'v heard quite abit but assume that it's all rumor, so I'm curious as to what others might know.
Vernon apparently had a concentration camp or two back in the day, and after the second world war fiasco they apparently released a great deal of the chinese people being held hostage in these camps.. and the "midget houses" were said to be built by these chinese people on the small chunk of land given to them. They'r all creepily small houses, all abandon, all kind of old but still in tact aside from some vandalism.
Supposedly haunted.
.....If these rumors are true.. I'd be more curious about the supposed concentration camps.

|  | | | It was the Japanese they held hostage in Concentration camps. Many of them were in California. There were other camps for prisoners scattered around the US. There was one in Okmulgee, Oklahoma where I used to live. A two year college is there now and there are no remains except for a water tower. The one in Okmulgee housed wounded German prisoners and was called Glennen Army Hospital. Stuff from there pops up on ebay sometimes mostly the scrip they issued the prisoners.

| | | | They were internment camps. Anyway they could also be from WWI as vernon had an Internment camp for Ukrainians at that time. And people were pretty short back then.

Psstttt. .....the Chinese were "allies" during WW2... That is when they are on your side, and yes Canada was an "allied power " too. Ok go back to your house thing now.

Vernon you say? Still in school?
They aren't super great or anything, Most of the things you see there have been tampered with by previous visitors trying to make it look creepy. And they'r starting to tear them down. I think my friends and I may go up tonight... and attempt to get some pictures before they'r gone. But I'm not sure..

I thought nothing of it, but as I looked into the window, I saw a creature. It looked almost as if it was a monster. I know you probably don't beleave me but I saw it with my own 2 eyes.
