we had these green monochrome apple monitors you could adjust the angle of and a couple of amdek monitors that were color, we used to fight over those!

Hell, we used to fight over getting a green screen monitor. That is, after we got monitors. Most of use were relegated to teletype machines with paper rolls. And no, whippersnappers, that is not a joke.
